Sparta. Our Lady of the Lake Church welcomed more than 40 of God’s creatures for a blessing on Oct. 4, St. Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day. After a pouring rain the clouds broke just in time for Father Kamil Kiszka to individually bless each treasured pet. All went home with a treat courtesy of Waggmore and Sparta Pet Shoppe & Spa.
