Sparta — Three-time Grammy nominee for Best Children’s Entertainer, Brady Rymer, will be performing his infectious, high-energy rock ‘n’ roll music for kids and families on October 27 at the Alpine Elementary School. Sponsored by the Alpine PTO, this fun and family-friendly evening will have everyone singing, dancing and grooving together while supporting the students and teachers of Alpine.
A former student of Sparta School District, Brady is also known for his bass playing skills with RCA Records band, From Good Homes, which was created during his high school years. Since venturing into family music 17 years ago, he has released eight successful albums, with a ninth coming later this month. It has been said that his music is a “joyous, genius, melodic gift for anyone with a rock and roll soul,” and “might just be the best-sounding band in children’s music,” according to NPR’s All Things Considered.
“We are so grateful that Brady Rymer will be coming back ‘home’ and sharing his music with not only the families of Alpine, but those in the surrounding areas as well,” said Joe Leone, Principal, Alpine Elementary School. “The PTO is an integral part of our school and provides the means necessary to fund assemblies, teacher disbursements, and class trips, among other things. It is through fundraisers like Brady Rymer, that we can continue to provide an environment where our students and teachers will thrive.”
What better way to spend your Friday night than with friends and family! Tickets are $10 each (children under 2 free) with show times at 5:00pm & 6:30pm. Advanced ticket purchase is encouraged. Please contact Niamh Grano at alpineptopres@gmail.com for more information.
