Church in the Glen rummage sale

NETCONG — The Stanhope United Methodist church, located at 2 Route 183 (Ledgewood Road) in Netcong, will be having their annual rummage sale, on Saturday October 28 from 9am to 3pm.
Guaranteed to have something for everyone. Sale items will include household goods, books, jewelry, home decor, holiday decorations, college dorm items, cooking utensils, and quality clothes for the entire family.
Come for lunch. Hot dogs, drinks and home baked goods will be available for purchase.
The Stanhope United Methodist church, The Church in the Glen, was included into the NJ Register of Historic Places on October 15, 2012 and National Registry of Historical Places on January 2, 2013. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Raise the Roof Capital Funds campaign which helps repair and maintain areas of the building not eligible for Historic Preservation Funds. The committed congregation has developed a long term planning vision to ensure the continued restoration and future repairs to the church. With the support of the surrounding communities and various fundraisers, the Stanhope United Methodist church will remain a beacon of hope, faith and charity for years to come. The congregation welcomes all to shop for bargains at the annual rummage sale while also participating in a local fundraising event.
