NEWTON — The Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) of Sussex County Community College, with advisor Professor Melanie Arpaio, held a Sweetheart Soiree for residents of Bristol Glen on Valentine's Day. Along with cheese and fruit, residents and students enjoyed a round robin of questions posed to residents such as "Tell About Your First Kiss," and "If you could choose to take any college course now, what would it be?" and young and old were able to cross generations and learn more about each other. Several games of Bingo resulted in residents winning prizes of puzzles and candy. Fifteen residents of Bristol Glen attended and the GSA hopes to make this an annual event. GSA members present were: Rachel Palmer, Kyle Menta, Nicole Swistak, and Rebecca Savela.
