Demolition of Max's Station House began this week to make way for family-owned restaurant chain A G Pizza. Max's closed after the sudden death of owner Joan Waldron in early 2016. It was a popular post-round destination for golfers, as well as a gathering place to enjoy music, sports, and dining on the covered deck. The familiar sign and the deck were all that remained on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018.
