Dentist office to offer free care

— Mohawk Dental will provide a day of free preventive dental care for children ages two to 12, as part of National Children's Dental Health Month.

The one-day event will take place on Friday, Feb. 6.

"We are honored and blessed to be able to give back to the community in such a special way," said local Family and Cosmetic dentist Dr. Paige Van Keuren. "This is our third annual Give Kids a Smile! Day, and we look forward to it being our best yet."

Children who come to Mohawk Dental on Feb. 6 will receive a comprehensive dental exam, cleaning, X-rays, fluoride treatment and oral hygiene instruction. Children will also receive free dental hygiene materials including a toothbrush, floss and toothpaste.

Individuals who wish to see a dentist on Feb. 6 should call 973-970-DMD5 to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Paige Van Keuren has been practicing dentistry for seven years in Sparta, Manhattan and the Bronx.

Mohawk Dental is located at 6 Seminary Lane in Sparta.
