Dingmans Bridge to close Sept. 9-20

DINGMANS — The Dingmans Bridge will be closed for 12 days for routine annual maintenance and repairs.

The bridge will close to traffic at 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, and will reopen at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.

Temporary signs along Route 739 in Pennsylvania and Route 206 in New Jersey will be removed when the bridge reopens.

The bridge is the last privately owned toll bridge on the Delaware River and one of the last few in the United States. It is owned and operated by the Dingmans Choice and Delaware Bridge Company.
