Hooker joins law firm as partner

Todd M. Hooker has joined the law firm Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP as a partner.

His practice focuses on commercial and environment litigation, working with businesses to navigate complex commercial, environmental and regulatory challenges.

Hooker has a broad range of experience in representing industrial and commercial clients in the environmental aspects of business transactions, environmental cost recovery actions, defense of federal and state environmental enforcement actions, disputes arising from the purchase/sale of contaminated property.

He has successfully litigated cases involving commercial transactions and business torts.

Hooker has served as a visiting lecturer at the Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, teaching a seminar on Toxic Torts, and has served as a Vice Chair of the Environmental Litigation and Toxic Tort Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Energy, Environment, and Resources. He has published and been a speaker and panelist on matters relating to environmental and occupational safety and health law.

Prior to entering law school, Hooker served in the United States Army as an infantry paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, and Squad Leader in the 8th Infantry Division. He is a veteran of the first Gulf War. Hooker received his law degree from the University of Maryland. He and his family are residents of Frankford.
