Jim's Station Auto has new name, location

In 2007 the Malaro family purchased the business known as Wayne Brown Automotive, a nearly defunct auto repair shop located on Station Road in Sparta.

Having resided, been employed, and raised their children in Sparta, they immediately doubled that client base and have continued to grow consistently since then, due to their excellent reputation as a local family-owned business.

With the onset of Hurricane Irene their shop at 92 Main Street began to flood, and became an unstable location for the business. This was a set-back, but they have re-established themselves on Route 15, directly across from Sprinkle Shack and the Friar Mountain Model Railroad Museum.

The Wilson Drive area is growing rapidly. Many local businesses are moving to that area and have become bigger and better.

Jim's Station Automotive has been re-named to Jim's Automotive & Classic Cars. Offering automotive maintenance and repair using fair practices and reasonable labor rates, Jim's also houses a complete restoration body shop specializing in auto restoration and repair.

Jim Malaro Jr is Sparta High School's choice for automotive training for upcoming drivers. He has provided seminars to the driver education students encompassing auto maintenance procedures, safety precautions, and emergency situation guidelines which have proven to be extremely helpful to young new drivers. He also provides pre-auto purchase screening to clients, to ensure a solid and safe automobile.

Malaro plans to renovate and expand the property in the future.
