Lady of the Lake to hold Cornerstone Retreat

Women can “Walk in the Light” during the Our Lady of the Lake Women’s Cornerstone VII retreat in Sparta, on Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.
Cornerstone is an overnight event held for women 21 years or older from any parish. The Women’s Cornerstone VII retreat provides participants an opportunity to bond with other women, while learning more about ones relationship with God.
During this 26 hour experience, participants will gain a better perspective of one Christian Faith, and life events.
This is not a Bible study. The wish is that each woman will walk away a new person on Saturday night; having met other people of the parish who have a similar understanding life, but with the support and friendship of others.
The weekend includes opportunity to:
- Relax and retreat from everyday life.
- Refocus on what is important in life.
- Reflect and remember on the blessings.
- Restore or renew faith in God.
