LVRHS senior awarded scholarship

Sussex County — Sussex County Superintendent Roundtable Scholarship Committee announced that Megan Canfield has been awarded with the first ever $1,000 scholarship from the Roundtable Association.
Roundtable President, Roger Jinks, Hamburg Public Schools said, "The Roundtable Association members could not be more proud to award Megan with our first scholarship award. She is a great candidate and we look forward to the many successes in her future.”
Megan is a high school senior at Lenape Valley Regional High School. She participates in several clubs, plays softball and field hockey, and finds time to put in 170 hours of community service while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 4.19.
Megan’s passion is for working with special needs students and their families. She has been accepted to Bloomsburg University’s Department of Education to study American Sign Language/English Interpreting program this fall.
