ROWING CLUB IS CLOSER TO GOAL

Sparta - The newly formed Sparta High School Rowing Club, a 501(c)3 organization, has received about 75 percent of the funds necessary to enable the student athletes to purchase enough sculls (boats) and matching oars, and to enable them to purchase the necessary equipment to transport their sculls to regattas (rowing races). The hopeful students have only three days left to come up with enough donations to meet an anonymous donor's challenge that would give them an additional $5,000. They're hoping the public will help them meet that challenge. But there is very little time left. Donations may be made via the club's Go Fund Me Page, and all donations are tax deductible.
