SCCC offers delayed and late start classes
NEWTON — Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is offering new Delayed and Late Start courses. These courses give new students the chance to attend college later in the semester and allows currents students to add to their college credits. The courses provide a range of general education courses that fit into an associate degree.
Delayed Start, which begins on February 12 and ends on May 13, are offered in a convenient online format or the traditional class setting. Courses available for Delayed Start include American Sign Language, Computer Concepts and Applications, Capstones for Liberal Arts, English Composition I and Sociology.
Late Start, which begins on March 13 and ends on May 13, gives students a shorter timeframe in which to earn credits. Classes include Computer Concepts and Applications, Macroeconomics and Microeconomics.
Students not currently enrolled at SCCC must fill out an application which is available online at sussex.edu/admissions and provide SAT scores or take the Placement Test offered at SCCC.
