Sparta church plans blood drive
Sparta. Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will host a community blood drive Dec. 18, with additional drives planned for February and June.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 246 Woodport Road, will host a community blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. Dec. 18.
Appointments can be made through the New York Blood Center’s scheduling page by using sponsor code 71131, or by calling 800-933-2566. For questions, email KReutter@nybc.org.
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted as space allows. Donors are encouraged to eat and drink beforehand and bring a donor ID card or photo ID.
Additional community blood drives are scheduled for Feb. 19 and June 25, 2026.
