Sparta education Foundation hosts tasting
SPARTA — The Sparta Education Foundation (SEF) will host its Fifth Annual Wine and Craft Beer Tasting & Food Pairing fundraiser on Sunday, September 24 from 3:30 to 7pm. This year’s event will feature an assortment of gourmet food specially selected to pair with an assortment of wines and craft beers.
“Last year’s wine tasting event drew a record crowd,” said Danielle Dykstra, President of the SEF. “We are anticipating another great turnout this year, where guests can enjoy a wide variety of wines and beers to taste and delicious gourmet treats to pair them with along with the opportunity to win raffle items. Wine and beer will once again be provided by The Liquor Factory in Sparta, and a specially-curated menu of food pairings will be prepared by KRAVE Café & Caterers. This is a great event and a terrific way to support Sparta’s public schools.”
Tickets are $50.00 per person and all proceeds will go to the SEF. Contact Danielle Dykstra at 862-268-5586 or danielledykstra@icloud.com to RSVP.
The Sparta Education Foundation has awarded over $879,000 in grants to all five of Sparta’s public schools since 2006.
