Sparta ISD presentations on herbs, Cayce

SPARTA — The Institute for Spiritual Development will present nationally known nutritional herbalist, Dr. Michael La Mastro, at its location at 15 Sparta Avenue, at 7:30 p.m., June 3.
With over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness field as a physician, lecturer, educator and author, La Mastro specializes in energy metabolism and herbal nutrition. His programs serve to balance the chemical, structural and emotional components of the body.
La Mastro will explain how his computerized bio-energetic body testing system can detect imbalances and depletions in the body and test various remedies that can, along with certain dietary changes, help stimulate the body to rid itself of the toxins, bacteria and viruses that bombard us on a daily basis, and reach a state of balance, enhanced energy and health.

On June 9, at 7:30 p.m., ISD will present Edgar cayce scholar Jack Rosen, who will lead the session, titled "Aches and Pains Be Gone."
This is the first of a series of workshops given by Rosen, former chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ARE Edgar Cayce Center NYC.
In this workshop Rosen will go over Edgar Cayce’s treatments for arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, sprains and fractures. These tried and true remedies have been used successfully on many people for decades.
We begin with a video demonstration, going over the preparation and use of various packs needed for the treatment. Then a detailed presentation, by Rosen, of suggested therapies. We will focus on diet, supplements, baths and massage.
Rosen has been using the Edgar Cayce remedies and teaching people how to use and make them for over fifty years. He has given workshops at the NYC center on Edgar Cayce for the past fifteen years. . He has given workshops at the Wainwright House, The Learning Annex, The New Health Expo and been a guest on the Gary Null Show. He has been on numerous local cable television shows in Westchester and Manhattan.
The evening will come to a close with a period of questions from the audience.
