Sparta man named vice president of bank

SPARTA — Atlantic Stewardship Bank recently announced the appointment of Peter Ameen, of Sparta, as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer.
Ameen will serve at the Bank’s headquarters in Midland Park.
Ameen has more than 25 years of progressive experience in commercial banking.
His skills include strategic and tactical planning, business development, small business lending, consumer lending, De Novo Bank start-up, financial analysis, leadership development, employee engagement and performance management.
Most recently, Ameen was area president for a large regional bank.
As Atlantic Stewardship Bank’s chief operating officer, Ameen will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Branch Administration, Operations/Electronic Services, Information Technology and Consumer Lending departments.
Ameen received Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ohio University. He is affiliated with many organizations including the Court Appointed Child Advocates of NJ, Board Member; Cathedral of St. George, Board Member and Treasurer; Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, Board Member; Lupus Walk for the Cure, Chairman; March of Dimes, Chairman; and Good Scouting Award, Committee Member.
