Sparta Police Fundraiser April 3

Sparta Police invite the general public to a fundraiser on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at noon until closing at Brick and Brew Restaurant on Route 23 in Franklin. A percentage of the day's sales will go toward helping police from Sparta, Jefferson, and West Milford participate in the Police Unity Tour this May, when police bicycle to Washington DC from local police stations across the nation.
The Police Unity Tour's primary purpose is to raise awareness of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifice. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the Law Enforcement National Memorial and Museum in Washington DC. The Police Unity Tour started out with 18 riders from Florham Park, but has grown to 9 chapters nationally, with 2,500 riders.
Funds that are raised through sales at Brick and Brew on Wednesday, April 3, will benefit the North Jersey Riders Team. For more information about the fundraiser, or to find out how to make a donation, contact Sparta Police at 973-729-6121.
