Sparta Scouts serve breakfast to seniors

On Saturday April 14, Sparta Boy Scout Troop 95 hosted a Pancake Breakfast at the Knoll Heights Senior Center. A big part of what Boy Scouts is all about is to be involved in the community and it was an opportunity for the boys to get to know an important part of what makes Sparta special. There was even a former Boy Scout Leader who was served breakfast. Scouts took orders and served breakfast all morning across 3 different seating times. The adult leaders cooked a delicious breakfast of pancakes, eggs and sausage. The seniors really enjoyed themselves and as a special treat they got to listen to the piano played by one of the scouts, Aaron D., while they ate their breakfast.
