Sparta Woman's Club to award scholarships

Sparta — The Sparta Woman’s Club is pleased to announce that the applications for the 2018 scholarships are now available. For over 65 years, the Sparta Woman’s Club has been providing scholarships for female high school seniors, as well as a scholarship to a woman who is furthering her education in college, business, or trade school.
Applications for 2018 are available at Sparta High School, at Pope John XXIII High School, at Sussex Vo-Tech School, and at the Sparta Library. All completed high school scholarship applications must be in the hands of the guidance directors of the above schools on or before April 20, 2018. Completed scholarship applications for a woman returning to school must be received by Mary Warner, Education Chair, by April 20. All necessary information is attached to the scholarship application.
