The Sparta 4th grade Youth Lacrosse was invited to compete in the Fall Finale Classic in Princeton on Nov. 7. The Sparta Athletes faced some of the Northeast's toughest club teams. Their opponents included the Long Island 2024 Outlaws Select, Transition Lacrosse, Team Igloo 2024 and Long Island Express North.

The Sparta Youth Lacrosse team didn’t have any subs for the entire tournament and they haven’t played since Spring 2015. After four games they earned the respect of the club team coaches and accolades from their coaches.

"I couldn’t believe they kept coming after the ball, my boys were exhausted with subs but your boys kept pursuing the ball, great game," said LI Outlaws Select Head Coach. "Unbelievable that your team kept up the pressure, really solid game play."

"I would play with any of your players, they had heart and never gave up," said Team Igloo 2024 Head Coach.

The Sparta coaches couldn’t be prouder of how well they played. Outnumbered and outgunned, they worked together and had a great day of lacrosse.
