Swim team falls in home meet

SPARTA — The Lake Mohawk Pool Swim team lost to Highland Lakes on in its last home meet of the season.
The final score was 335-305 in the match held last week in Sparta.
Lake Mohawk, known as the Hawks, is part of the Lakeland Swim Conference, which is composed of 14 teams.
The team formerly known as the Cruiser Club has been involved with the league for over 40 years.
With members ranging from age five to 18, this year’s team has practiced daily and competes every Wednesday evening.
The season culminates with the Lakeland Conference “A” Championship meet on August 8.
