Adorable in his Robin costume, Lilo is looking for his very own Batman! Less than 20 pounds, this Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix will make a great sidekick. Lilo is a cute guy, great lap dog, and will easily fit into the smallest of homes. He should only go to a single person household.

Dancer and Vixen are 18-month old Plott Hound mixes who are sisters. Both are about 35 pounds, spayed, up-to-date on shots, and crate trained. These adorable, house broken girls also walk nicely on a leash. They were seized by from their owners in Florida due to neglect and cruelty, moving to an Eleventh Hour foster home in December.

Despite their tough upbringing, they are two of the sweetest dogs their foster mom has ever met. A bit timid and fearful of new people and places, and unsure at first, they’ve blossomed into active members of the household. Dancer and Vixen look to each other for comfort and confidence — Dancer is more laid back and mellow where Vixen is outgoing and mischievous. Eleventh Hour would like to keep them in a home together, but they may be able to be separated if the home has other dogs. They love to run around and wrestle, so a fenced-in yard is best. The girls like to chew on bones and tennis balls.

One Step Closer Animal Rescue
Buddy is a lovable, low-maitenance dog who is 10 years young. His family wasn’t able to care for him anymore. He is a happy-go-lucky senior who loves kids, dogs, and attention. Buddy loves curling up with a friend on the couch.

O.S.C.A.R. will be holding adoption days with both dogs and cats on Feb. 23 and March 9. Come out to Mohawk Gardens (163 Woodport Road, Sparta) between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Noah’s Ark Animal Welfare Association

Birdie is a female Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who was rescued from Kansas after the tornadoes. She is just over a year old and loves to be petted and loved. Birdie is a very sweet cat who would love to find her new best friend. She’s been spayed and is up-to-date with all her shots.

Conan is a 6-year-old male Siberian Husky. He is playful in the yard, but is a quiet dog inside the house, and very sweet. Conan is even-tempered and walks well on the leash. He came to Noah’s Ark because his owner was moving and could not take him along. Conan has been microchipped and is up-to-date on all his vaccinations.
