Tuscany returns to Andover farm

Andover — The mountains in the background, the full sky with a vibrant setting sun, the field of sunflowers and the grape-laden vineyard. What could be better than this? Enjoying all this plus a complete, exquisite Italian meal on a Tuscan-style farm, that's what. And it's coming once again to the Grinthal family's Sunset View Farm in Andover this August.
Enjoy Italian music in the background, photo ops galore, and a chance to help a local Sussex County 501c3 organization that teaches people to be self-sufficient and grow their own healthful food. The host will once again be chef John Vitale of Caffe Anello in Westwood, who has partnered with the Grinthal family and Sunset View Farm to provide the delectable Italian menu in this beautiful setting that rivals the views in Tuscany, Italy. Previous Tuscan Sunset Dinners hosted by the Vitale family raised money for the Accessible Garden of raised beds which enables people who use wheelchairs and walkers to garden in the Community Garden, the Children's Educational Garden which is a cooperative effort with Ginnie's House of Newton, and the newly renovated recreation/picnic area that the Salt Shakers, Pass-it-Along and the Interns of Selective Insurance all helped to build.
This year, included in the suggested donation of $75, there will be a beginner Foxtrot lesson under the sky to the music of one of the great Italian singers. Even with two seatings, 6 and 8 pm, there was a waiting list for last year's event. Reservations for August 26 can be made at <URL destination="http://www.SunsetVista.org/Events .
