Two Sparta school board members resign
Sparta. Sparta Public School Board of Education members Jennifer Grana and Kate Matteson resigned from the panel on May 19. The school board will hold interviews on June 24.

The Sparta Board of Education on May 27 accepted the resignation of school board members Jennifer Grana and Kate Matteson.
Their resignations were effective May 19.
Board of Education President Kim Bragg said anyone interested in filling those vacancies is asked to send a letter of intent and resume to Business Administrator Ron Smith by June 10.
Interviews will be held at the June 24 Board of Education meeting.
