SPARTA — Train Creative, a facilitator of creative training experiences and events, is pleased to offer a variety of weekly summer camps for kids designed to inspire creativity and keep young minds learning while on break from the school year. From Learning to Knit to Little Scientists, Art Magic and more, Train Creative has the perfect enrichment opportunity for your family this summer. Each camp is led by a qualified instructor and takes place in the Sparta Train Station located at 30 Station Road in Sparta (next to the Sparta PAL).

Little Scientists
July 23 – 26
Daily from 10AM – 11:30AM
Ages 5-8
Train Creative is hosting a four-day Science Enrichment program through Little Scientists® - an international leader in early childhood and elementary school hands-on science education.Little Scientists is a "hands-on" approach to learning science with the main goal being to excite all children about the world of science. The program is known for coupling interactive projects, entertaining demonstrations and simple experiments with children's natural curiosity, introducing children to the thrill of scientific discovery. Little Scientists
July 23 – 26
Daily from 12 – 1:30pm
Ages: Entering 3rd through 6th grade
Is your child an aspiring detective or curious scientist always on the hunt for new clues and learning? Then our new CSI - Crime Scene Investigation mini-camp could be the perfect immersion for your little scientist this summer. Designed for children entering 3rd grade through 6th grade, this course is an introductory look into the world of forensic science that focuses on fingerprint analysis and DNA as the tools to help solve crimes. The course is a fun and engaging chemistry and forensic science enrichment program that's an ideal option to keep your child learning over the summer.

Fun with Yarn Arts & Crafts Day Camp
July 30 – August 3
Daily from 9AM to 11:30AM
Ages: Entering Kindergarten through 3rd Grade
Does your young child love arts and crafts? If so, this is the perfect summer camp for them! Designed for children entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade, this daily camp guides students through a variety of crafts using colorful yarn and other fun materials! From pom pom critters and friendship bracelets to making yarn animals using their very own loom, students will embark on a creative adventure and will have much to show at the end of their week having fun with yarn.

July 30 – August 3
Daily 12PM to 2:30PM
Ages: Entering 3rd through 8th grade
During this one week camp, students will learn the basics of knitting through a variety of projects. Upon completion, students will take home the results of their hard work.

Art Magic Art Camp
August 13-17
Daily from 9AM-12PM
Ages: 6-14
Join Art Magic's Karen Klein for her second annual week long "Intensive" in art designed for kids ages 6-14 at the Sparta Train Station. Over the course of five days, students will experience clay sculpting, drawing, painting and a variety of two- and three-dimensional work. An art show featuring student's work will conclude the week.
