Sparta - The children who attend the afternoon KEEP at the Alpine school have been conducting various science experiments throughout the school year. They recently built bridges out of marshmallows, prepared Kool Aid play dough and devised the “world’s largest drinking straw,” created their own slime, and conducted a Mentos and diet Coke eruption. The kids took turns helping out with each process of the science experiment from pouring ingredients into the bowl, mixing, and adding food coloring to throwing the Mentos into the diet Coke.
