Making the best of it

    Even Mother Nature was confused. After enjoying a mild winter with record-breaking warm temperatures, the area faced a nor’easter that buried parts of the state under as much as two feet of snow. The storm paralyzed most of the northeast on Sunday, but Monday roads were clear and area schools welcomed students back to class. At right, Hanna and Sarah Joudi make the best of the situation on Sunday.
