Many hired on the spot at jobs fair

Franklin — Job Seekers from six counties and two states attended the Oct. 14 Annual Fall Job Fair at the Littell Center in Franklin, hosted by the One Stop. The Fair was held on a large court in the Hardyston Recreation side of that building. In a number of instances, people were hired on the spot. Those doing so included a Chinese chemical company based in Bergen County, a solar energy company startup from Morris County, some other firms based in Middlesex County and a number of firms and government agencies from nearby Pennsylvania and New York. The One Stop is already preparing for its next Job Fair to be held in April.
