Eleven highly accomplished local young women competed for the title of Miss Sparta 2006 last week. Samantha Bell (at left), an 18-year-old Pope John graduate won the title and the right to represent Sparta in community events and at the Sussex County Fair in August. The event, which was attended by a large number of residents, was held at Skyview Country Club on Wednesday, June 28. (Photos by Amy Cilli)
