New location for market

    NEWTON — Effective Jan. 7 the Newton Winter Farmers Market will be moving from its current location at the Newton High School to its new location at the Springboard Shoppes, 145 Spring Street in Newton. Market hours will remain Saturdays from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. The market will be closed Christmas Eve and New Years' Eve. The Newton Winter Farmers Market is organized by the Foodshed Alliance and has over 20 vendors weekly from Blairstown, Sparta and Lafayette. Locally produced greens, fruit, bread, baked goods, pasture-raised all-natural beef, pork, lamb, chicken, duck, eggs and more are available.
