New outdoor store takes a bow in Sussex County

Stockholm - “Welcome to Sussex County, People and Nature Together” is the road sign that greets all motorists as they travel north on Route 23 and enter Sussex County in the Stockholm area. So, it was no coincidence that Dino Kiritsis chose this area for his new hunting and fishing store, Garden State Bow and Reel. Located directly across the street from the soon-to-reopen Skylands Ice World, Bow and Reel opened its doors on June 20 and is a retail store which specializes in high-end hunting and fishing equipment and prides itself on its customer service. “I have worked in this business for 20 years including managing other similar stores, and after doing a lot of research, I felt that there was definately a need for a store like this in the area,” said Kiritsis. “We are an Archery Pro shop and carry Matthews and Hoyt bows, but we will special order any item and can often get it as soon as the next day,” he added. Bow and Reel also specializes in bow repair and Kiritsis already has a loyal following. “Dino is the best and I don’t trust anyone else with my bow,” said Anthony Morello, who has been bringing his hunting equipment to Kiritsis for repair and tune ups for many years. Kiritsis also has a wide range of fishing equipment and carries a large selection of live bait. “This whole area is just great for hunting and fishing, and we stock anything that the bow hunter or fisherman may need,” he said. “Traditional archery is also a growing trend, and we have a full range of bows and targets for that.” For more information, call 973-697-3727.
