New practitioners join Total Health

    Hamburg - Three new practitioners are joining Women’s Total Health’s Hamburg office, according to Dr. Fred Nichols of the health center. Glenn S. Sherman, M.D., is an obstetrician/gynecologist with an interest in high-risk obstetrics, colposcopy and general gynecology. He is a graduate of Drew University in Madison and the Albany Medical College. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at Jersey City Medical Center, where he was chief resident and valedictorian of the graduating residents. Joan Weglein, RN-C, MSN, is a specialist in women’s health. Retired from military service, she has practiced critical care and military nursing for more than 20 years. She is a 2006 graduate of Seton Hall University’s Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. She lives in the Poconos with her husband, Art, and , Christopher and Colleen. Edward P. Zarczynski, M.D., will join the practice on Jan. 8. A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich., he did his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. In private practice as an OB/GYN for 13 years, he spent the last two years working with OB/GYN residents at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
