New Sonic Suds laundromat opens

Newton - Sonic Suds Laundromat opened its doors on Dec. 26 in the Quick Check Shopping Center on Sparta Avenue in Newton. Sonic Suds is celebrating its grand opening with a special through the end of the month. This is Sonic Suds second location. A cutting-edge facility, it is equipped with modern energy-saving and water-conserving equipment. The machines operate on an automated card system, eliminating the need for quarters. Sonic Suds is the area’s first 24-hour laundromat. It is fully staffed around the clock and offers a professional wash and fold laundry service, an important service to people who are trying to help their elderly parents live independently, and to small businesses with laundry needs.
