Noble Community Bank holds first shareholder meeting

    Sparta - More than 40 participants attended Noble Community Bank’s first shareholders’ meeting on April 18 at Perona Farms in Andover. Brian Fitzpatrick, president and chief executive officer, reported that the bank opened for business on Aug. 29, 2005, and by year-end had achieved total deposit levels of more than $9 million. Total loans at year-end amounted to $3.3 million, and the bank had issued firm loan commitments for an additional $4.3 million. Total assets had reached $17.3 million. Since then the bank has grown another 18 percent and deposits presently amount to more than $11 million. Fitzpatrick said the bank has been well received in the community. Shareholders re-elected the board of directors: Parimal Bhayani, M.D.; E. Jane Brown; David Canfield; Peter Cofrancesco, III; Terrence Duddy, D.D.S.; Brian Fitzpatrick; Steven Oroho; Jeffrey Parrott; and Harold Wirths. Also in attendance were senior staff members Gregory Daniels, senior vice president and chief financial officer; Thomas D’Urso, senior vice president and chief loan officer; Carole Raney, senior executive assistant; and Victoria Tramaglini, assistant vice president and branch manager. The bank’s business plan and focus are on small and medium-sized businesses. The bank offers business lines of credit, business term loans for equipment acquisition or for expansion. It also offers commercial mortgages for land and building acquisition, or for renovation and improvement. Its approval process is “very responsive to borrowers’ needs and time lines,” Fitzpatrick observed. The bank will also offer a free courier service for the convenience of our customers. The service will pick up daily bank deposits, and other necessary documents, a convenience that will save customers time that can be more productively redirected elsewhere. All of the bank’s products are competitively priced, and include internet banking, bill paying, ATM cards, debit cards, etc. The bank’s main office facility is nearing completion at 351 Sparta Ave., Sparta. Fitzpatrick assured shareholders that the board of directors and staff will continue to work diligently to manage a safe and sound financial institution and protect and grow their investment. The bank’s hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at 370 Lafayette Rd., Sparta.
