Oh what a night

On Friday night 36 students from Wallkill Valley Regional High School gave their fellow students a preview of this year’s prom fashions. Over 50 students tried out for the opportunity to take part in the prom fashion show. From those, 18 girls and 18 boys were chosen. Students represented all sizes and shapes and modeled outfits from Chrissy O’s Bridal & Prom in Spring Street in Newton. “This event is great for the kids because though it is a lot of hard work, it is a lot of fun, and it gives kids that may never have been on stage before a chance to shine,” said Terry Johnson, a parent of one of the models. This event was a fundraiser for the Wallkill Booster Club. (Photos by Eileen Stanbridge)
