On Our Cover

Eight-year-old Annalise Dottinger is the model gracing this week’s cover of the Sparta Independent. The cover was done combining Annalise’s picture, taken by photographer Amy Cilli, with 100 photos of Sparta children and young adults. Most of them taken in the past few weeks at local events. When asked how she feels about being on the cover, Annalise replied, “I feel like I am famous.” Regarding what her friends will say when they see her on the cover of the newspaper, she said, “They will think it is really cool.”
