SPARTA — Brian Trautz of White Oak Center for Natural Health announces the recent start up of White Oak Organic Foods Co-op. Membership into the co-op is $20; thereafter a share is $35 every two weeks. There is no work for members other than to pick-up their share and leave $35 for the next one. Currently the co-op is focused on fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, while expanding into other foods and related products. The produce is delivered to White Oak Center, 33 Woodport Rd, Sparta, every other Wednesday. Members come by throughout the day with their own grocery bags and pick-up their allotted amount. The produce is pre-selected from an extensive list the day before based on availability, price and freshness. It is ordered at wholesale prices and delivered by Albert’s Organics, a major organic foods distribution company, the next morning. All produce is USDA Certified Organic. To join or for further information contact Brian Trautz at: btrautz@whiteoakcenter.com & he will forward you the information or call White Oak Center 973-729-1900.
