Play Ball! It's never too early

Sussex-Wantage — Sussex-Wantage Little League Baseball has recently announced the registration dates for the upcoming spring season. The registration is for boys and girls, ages 5 to 16. This year, parents can register their children in person or by mail. Registration will be held at the Sussex Firehouse on the following dates: Saturday, Jan. 6, from 8 a.m. to noon; Friday, Jan. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 13, from 8 a.m. to noon. To register by mail, visit the Wantage Township Web site at www.wantagetwp.com. Click on the Sports heading and scroll down to Baseball. Then click on more baseball info and open the Little League link. Once you are on the Little League page, you can download a registration form by clicking on Forms. Print the form, fill it out and mail with your payment, by Jan. 15, to: Sussex-Wantage Little League POB 475, Sussex, NJ 07461. Fees are $100 per player for minors, majors, juniors and seniors ; $75 per player for triple-A and T-ball; and $25 per player for the Challenger League. Any registration and payment received after the deadline will be subject to a $20 late fee. Further, late registrations will be placed on a waiting list and may not be accepted for the 2007 season.
