Pope John students dining in style

Sparta — Students and staff returned to Pope John High School after Christmas break to a brand new eating style.The cafeteria was renovated over the short break, turning the old cafeteria line into a brand new food-court-style lunch line. Serving areas include the “Grille,” “Pizza,” “Trends,” “Traditions” and Express.” Also new is a double-deck impingement pizza oven that will produce freshly made individual Pope John pizzas. The Pope John Lions Cafe officially opened at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with a ribbon cutting. Representatives from Dowling Food Service Management company were on hand to unveil the new cafe.
