Realtor active in animal rescue group

Sparta — In addition to selling homes, Realty Executive Sales Associate Glenn Edwards has a passion for saving the lives of dogs and cats in need. Glenn, his wife Cindy and a team of volunteers belong to an organization called One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR) which is a Sparta based non-profit rescue organization that rescues dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters where the animals would normally have been be euthanized due to lack of space. Volunteers transport the animals to a network of foster homes in northern New Jersey until they can be placed in permanent loving homes. All of the animals in their care are vaccinated, spayed and neutered. The next Pet Adoption Day will take place on Saturday, July 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Realty Executives Sparta Office located at 54 Woodport Road.
