SPARTA — Dr. Ellen Mayne, a retired librarian from Sparta, is the winner of a 2011 G37 Convertible through a car raffle sponsored by Saint Clare’s Foundation, with all proceeds benefiting Saint Clare’s Health System. Dr. Mayne purchased only one raffle ticket, and made her purchase online through the Saint Clare’s Foundation’s Web site. Her winning ticket was drawn on Nov. 4 at a prize raffle drawing event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rockaway. This year marked the inaugural year for Saint Clare’s Foundation’s car raffle, which proved to be a successful event, with over 650 tickets sold. The car was donated in part by Salerno Duane Infiniti in Denville. All proceeds from the car raffle benefit Saint Clare’s Foundation which supports the many programs and services of Saint Clare’s Health System. “This was an exciting event and involved many people in support of Saint Clare’s,” said Ann McManus, a Saint Clare’s Foundation Board Member who led the event in partnership with fellow Foundation Board Member, Gale Bott. “We would like to thank everyone who participated in this raffle for their generous donation to Saint Clare’s Health System, and for helping us to build stronger, healthier communities in our area.” For more information about Saint Clare’s Foundation visit www.saintclaresfoundation.org.
