Safety a concern at intersection

To the Editor: With all the hoopla and press given lately to the new high school options, it seems that an important safety concern is not being addressed. With the start of school approaching, accompanied by many high school drivers leaving the premises, the town needs to evaluate and correct the traffic light situation at the intersection of Glen Road, Main Street, and Station Road. When trying to turn left onto Glen Road from Main Street, one cannot see the traffic light. This is dangerous, especially for inexperienced drivers. With the police station being only one block away, I'm surprised that this hasn't been noticed and corrected. Jane Lewandowski Sparta
