Newton - A six-session course designed to prepare high-school students for the new SAT test will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. beginning Thursday, March 16, at Sussex County Community College. The SAT is a major factor in college admissions and in the granting of scholarships. Required text for the class is Barron’s How to Prepare for the New SAT 1, 22nd edition. The course is also suitable for those taking the PSAT. It reviews all of the material covered on the exam and gives test-proven strategies that can substantially increase scores.
