Scholarship winners

The Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta (JWCS) recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors. The winners were: Jenna Dowd, who will be attending Penn State University, Erica Roberts, who will be attending Northeastern University, and Krista Shugart, who will be attending Green Mountain College. The scholarships were based on community and school service, as well as written expression and academic achievement.
