Spart spa hosts benefit for children of America's military

    Sparta — International Salon and Spa of Sparta has pulled out all the stops to raise funds for children of America's heroes, and celebrate the launch of a "Profound Beauty" innovation. From noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, the salon will provide hair cutting, nail and rejuvenating massage services, with all proceeds supporting the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund. The fund provides educational scholarships to the children of Americans in the armed forces who have sacrificed life or limb for their country. Local invited military leaders will be on hand to share empowering messages. The salon will be offering cuts at $25, manicures at $10, and massages at $1 per minute with a 10 minute minimum. The spa is the first salon in the area to be selected to launch "Profound Beauty," a revolutionary concept in personalized beauty whose collection includes shampoos, conditioners and styling products all specifically formulated for the individual. A treatment is prescribed for each individual, Guests will receive a complimentary hair and scalp diagnosis, and get the inside scoop on new trends in hair cut and color.
