Sparta grad in Susquehanna band

Sparta - Larry Fisher of Sparta is playing the saxophone in Susquehanna University’s stadium band this fall. The stadium band plays at all home football games, the homecoming parade and pep rally, and at special events that occur throughout the fall at the Selinsgrove, Pa., university. The band is directed by Eric Hinton, visiting assistant professor of music at Susquehanna. Membership is open by audition to all university students. Fisher, a junior music education major, is a 2003 graduate of Sparta High School. He is the son of Larry and Nancy Fisher.
