Sparta library ready for winter fun

Sparta — The following are the winter activities scheduled at the Sparta Public Free Library. Winter Story Hour Registration takes place Thursday, Jan. 6. Residents can pick up a current Story Time brochure for further details. Voting for the Garden State Nominees for 2005, will take place from Jan. 3 to Jan. 6. Dinner by the Book will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 26, for children in grades 3 through 7. Registration begins Jan.12. Entries for the 17th Annual Sussex County Poetry Awards for students in grades 6 through 8 are accepted until 9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 14. Entries will be available through the student's teachers or at the Children's Circulation Desk.
