Sparta Little League kicks off the season on Saturday

SPARTA-Sparta Little League will hold opening day ceremonies at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, at Station Park field 6. The parade onto the filed will begin at 8:30, followed by introductions, awards, the national anthem, and the first pitch. Teams should arrive by arrive by 8 a.m. and begin lining up on the grass area to the right side of the road beginning at the drinking fountain behind the backstop on field 6, starting with the youngest guys first (prep) and then going in age order up the road toward the Station Park entrance.
