    November 7 At 10:37 p.m., Sergeant Jeff Mase observed a vehicle with no license plates being operated at a slow speed on Old Prospect School Road apparently spotlighting for deer. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, David Franak, 18, of Wantage. He was charged with failing to display license plates, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle. His passenger, Harold Kinner, 41, of Sussex, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Both were later released. November 8 At 8:30 a.m., Patrolman Joseph Pensado and Patrolman Frank Schomp responded to the 7-11 parking lot on a complaint of a woman sleeping in her vehicle. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Bridget Schnell, 53, of Montague. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving, failure to notify the division of motor vehicles of change of address, and a criminal charge of being under the influence of a controlled and dangerous substance. Schnell was transported to Newton Hospital where she was treated and released pending a mandatory court date in Sparta.
